Product Manager

Department: Engineering
Location: Orlando, FL

Job Purpose

Our Product team is growing and is looking to add a Product Manager. This role is responsible for product management throughout the product life cycle; this includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Engineering to deliver winning products. It also includes partnering with other departments including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager will ensure that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. Additionally, this role will develop a forecast for the product based on input from marketing, sales, market analysts and their own experience and manage its delivery.


Roles and Responsibilities

The Product Manager has a wide variety of roles and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Establish multi-year product vision, strategy, and direction for factoring and supply chain finance platforms and capture this direction in our roadmap

  • Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities

  • Relentlessly research and understand customers to continuously deliver better experiences

  • Develop product specifications and priorities based on customer feedback, market insights and competitive research and analysis

  • Drive product requirements definition, product planning, product design, and testing of new features

  • Make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data. Foster a data-driven culture that accelerates testing, delivery, and innovation

  • Partner with Engineering and UI/UX to deliver the most valuable, viable, and feasible solutions to customers

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Customer Engagement on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved

  • Own and develop relationships with partners; work with them to optimize and enhance company products and integrations

  • Measure everything. Define what success means for each feature and function early in the development process


Qualifications

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as software engineering, business administration, marketing, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in product management in software development, particularly software as a service (SaaS)

  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) software development environment

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Demonstrated success managing products throughout the product development life cycle with a track record of defining and launching excellent products

  • Ability to research and analyze incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs and turn them into solid action plans

  • Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target users and operational leaders

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to make decisions based on both quantitative data and qualitative insight

  • Passion for learning about new problems that users are facing and love to build creative solutions for solving the problem

  • Exceptional communication skills, including presentation, formal writing, verbal and email

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product and providing sound justification for the direction


Preferred Skills

Bonus points for any of the following:

  • Experience working with UI/UX designers to conduct user research and usability testing to optimize product experience; have an eye for a simple and compelling user interface

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or similar

  • Certified Product Manager (CPM) from Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM)

  • New Product Development Professional (NPDP) Certification from Product Development and Management Association (PDMA)

  • Experience with supply chain management or financial technology
